Max Card at Bermuda Soft Play

We recently had a great afternoon out at Bermuda Soft Play using our Max Card. This isn't our nearest soft play centre, but we decided to try it out as we had heard nothing but good things about it. It was certainly worth the 30 minute trip.

Our elder son is most definitely a creature of habit, and going to a 'new soft play' caused a little confusion, but this was soon forgotten about when we walked through the door of the centre. There weren't any ques when we arrived, but unlike some soft play centres, the reception area is quite spacious which would definitely have helped had we needed to wait, and there is plenty of room for pushchairs and wheelchair users. The staff on the desk were very friendly and our Max Card discount was given without a problem.

One of the first things that we noticed was that there are tables and chairs positioned between the soft play equipment and the exit, which is a huge stress relief for parents whose children are at risk of bolting.

The centre is suitable for toddlers right up to children aged 12 years old.  There is a fantastic range of ball pools, slides and climbing apperatus catering for all ages and even an outside play area and seating.  Our boys had a fantastic time zooming around the sea, jungle and space themed areas, and it was really easy for us to see them and make sure that they were safe from where we were sitting (when we weren't being persuaded to join them!).

The food at children's attractions is often overpriced and not that nice, however the 'Grub Hut' cafe had a great selection of cakes and cold refreshments to choose from as well as hot food. Our children are on prescribed liquid feeds, and the staff were happy to provide us with all we needed to make these up (which sadly isn't always the case at other soft play centres).

As a parent to children who have allergies, I often find myself cringing at the lack of cleanliness at children's attractions, however I was pleasantly surprised at how clean it was. The other factor that often puts me off taking the children to soft play is the price - we never know how long we are going to be there before we have to leave due meltdowns. Being able to use Max Cards at Bermuda Soft Play means that Max Card holders don't need to worry so much about the cost implications of this, and the huuuuge fish tank that is by the cafe proves to be a great distraction when needed.

Our children have already been asking to return to Bermuda Soft Play, and I would definitely recommend it (don't forget your socks!).
